Shirt.Woot.Com Rules
I have been in love with shirt.woot.com for like the past year. For those of you not familiar with the concept, here’s how it works. Shirt.woot.com announces a theme and all kinds of folks submit designs to go along with that theme and everyone votes on their favorite… so whichever shirt wins ends up going up for sale. If you buy a shirt on the day it is featured, it’s $10… if you buy a shirt after that, it’s $15, unless they’re running some kind of special deal or whatever.
The coolest part of it, from my perspective, besides the witty and humorous nature of the shirts that are featured, is that there are tons of cool analytics at play. First off, there’s the whole voting thing, THEN, once the shirt is up for sale, the whole voting dimension is based on how many people purchase a particular shirt… really cool stuff from a “people analytics” perspective.
If you’re looking to get hooked into a cool website that really appeals to geeks with a sense of humor, totally check it out and bookmark shirt.woot.com.
